Game crashes when I approach rivet city.

So everytime I approach rivet city, the game crashes. I tried uninstalling all my mods to see if that's what it was, but no luck. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I'm still having the same problem. Any suggestions?

Do you have both the Unofficial Patch and Broken Steel DLC running? If so, then there is a fix for this . From a post on BSF:

 

THIS is a replacement Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel.esp which should serve as a temporary fix until Quarn's next update.

 

I don't know if this will solve your problems, but it rang a bell when I saw it.

i am having the same problem... I tried using the unoffcail patch fix it but to no avial. Also i deactived the all my mods and still get the same problem. this only happens after i finsh vault 112, so any ideas would be a great help. also how to i make a copy of my mod load list so i can post it.

In fomms load order- right click, copy load order to clipboard, then just paste it into post .
