Problem adding to a mesh with NIF scope

I've exported a few bits and pieces from various armors as .OBJ files with nif scope. When I import them into the .Nif file of another piece of armor it looks fine while viewing it in nif scope, but in the game the added pieces aren't visible. All I did was import the .OBJ file and the piece I want went were it should be. Then I selected "Save As" and named the new file. It always looks right when opened with nif scope. :wallbash:

That is because there is missing data such as bone weights and textures. If you are combining pieces of various armors, just copy branch into other nif files through nifscope. Otherwise you need to go through blender or some other 3D modeling program and then export it as a nif (not there are many other steps you need to do, if you don't know them look up the tutorials on TES wiki)
