Building Houses

Recommended Posts

I READ SOME WHERE THAT U CAN BUILD HOUSES IN THIS GAME, IS IT TRUE,AND IF SO HOW. KEEP IN MIND I HAVE THE XBOX EDITION

M'Aqui will tell you that you need a lot of wood, or stone. M'Aqui also knows that the Ashlanders build yurts out of sticks and guar skin.

Also, if you join a Great House (M'Aqui knows of three: Redoran, Hlallu, and Telvani), they will build you a manor if you do enough duties for them. But once you are admitted into a Great House, you cannot join another. Each GreatHouse builds a different manor for their nobels. The Telvani grow a tower from a plant, the Hlallu build a manor with a guard house, and the Redoran build a nice cozy villa in the middle of an Ash Storm.

M'Aqui would also appreciate it if you didn't yell so much, as that hurts M'Aqui's delicate Khajiit ears.

Ok...

Number One... TYPING IN CAP-LOCK IS VERY ANNOYING AND GIVES OTHERS THE IMPRESSION THAT YOU ARE YELLING.

Number Two... You can't actually build a house. There is no way to do it in morrowind. I'm not sure if there are mods that allow you to but then again I haven't looked. The Great Houses give you manors. Well they don't actually give it to you because you have to pay for them to build it and stuff.

Number Three... Well... There really isn't a number three.

And by the way if you go to solsthiem and become a factor and stuff you alao get a nice house... and a village to terrorize as a werewolf.

To further enlighten you on the construction of a stronghold, dr mott, you must be ranked a Lawman in the Great House Telvanni, a Lawman in the Great House Hlaalu, or a Lawman in the Great House Redoran. Then you contact Llunela Hleran in the Hermitage in the Telvanni Council House, Dondos Driler in the Balmora Council Manor, or Galsa Gindu in her house off the Redoran Council Hall.

I hope that this helps you in your endeavor to gain a stronghold, aka a house, for your player to live in.

And someone please tell me if this is too much of a spoiler.

Probably too much of a spoiler for General Morrowind. ;) Moving...

As they say dr mott, please don't use caps lock when posting, as it is considered to be yelling (basic netiquette). Thanks.
