Guest Trul
@OpenSaucer: I'm sorry for the previous comment, I did not mean to be rude ^^ Do you know if such a mod which we are discussing here is even possible? I use Cheat Engine tables for the first time in my life for this game and I see there is a lot of options, but as someone mentioned earlier, right now there is nothing you can do to spawn enemies in a more controlled way (for me it would be the best if enemies would spawn infinitely - as it was in DeS and DaS1). No offense taken :) Well, of course it's always possible to alter the game code, the easiest and most user-friendly method being in the way of a utility like Cheat Engine, but again; play offline or risk a VAC-ban. They are the only two options, no matter what method you use to mod the game. Myself I choose to only alter the game graphically, and leave the game mechanics as they are. I agree completely though, DS1's monster camp system was better, a lot of areas feel empty after only playing for 20 hours.
Armedsauce
Someone please make this. I was trying to farm for a bat staff to use with dark fog (I hear its pretty good) but I've farmed the location dry and never got a bat staff. Now white hollow sorcerer do not respawn in the area, so how the hell am I supposed to get a bat staff if the enemy that drops it, can't spawn? No, I don't want to have to burn an ascetic at a bonfire just to get an item that should drop off simple REGULAR enemies.I mean what happens when you reach the limit of NG+'s ? The game will simply stop respawning enemies? What a horrible thought. This game also does not have a trading menu, so yeah... the only thing you can do is farm for certain items, yet the game doesn't allow you to if you run out of chances to get it.Somebody PLEASE make a mod that resets enemy spawns, or at the very least change the number of times they can spawn to an infinite amount like dark souls 1. Guest Yokoshima
Pretty much everybody knows this  I test everything offline, but tbh I don't care and eventually I will go online with mods. DRM piece of $%^& This issue has nothing to do with DRM ^^ It's an always-online game, so it's understandable how they would want to add some kind of anti-cheat; and for this they chose one of the best systems on the market, so no angry comments there. They should however in my opinion, have added the ability to mod the game in a sort of single-player only offline mode. It's possible, but not everyone knows how. I get that they wan't anti-cheat for those that play on their servers, but I paid good money for this game. If I get banned from the servers I get that, but this is my game so I deserve an offline and LAN modes to play the game the way I want.

I agree completely with you, there should have been an easy to access offline mode. You can still run the game offline by denying it access to the internet though, that way you are completely safe from a VAC ban. Nonetheless I think the co-op is generally a bit wonky, it should have been easier to play with your friends.

Granted you still get random summons and sometimes they keep summoning you even though you used your damn Black Crysal to go back Home (Apparently they have it in their thick skulls, "Oh! He must of accidentally used his Crystal, I'll just summon him again, and again and again and again!"). Though, at least this time around you have the option to buy that Name Plate ring from the cat in Majula to help filter random summons which is something, better than nothing. That's not what I meant - the co-op system could have worked way better entirely. Sometimes it just doesn't work at all, there are no summon signs anywhere. Well maybe it's just dead at those moments then, you're not always going to find someone to help you out. After all it's all dependent on someone actually putting a sign down. So if you're looking for a random, how do you know someone just didn't put any sign down and there's no one there? If you're trying to play with a friend, it takes patience, replacing signs until the other can see it (takes anywhere from a few seconds to almost a minute depending on both connections). If you know there should be randoms around, it doesn't hurt just to reload your game.
cicala
Hi, as you already know, after (around) 15 kills enemies no longer respawn. From Software made a lot of changes in Dark Souls 2 - some fine, some bad. But one sticks out as game breaking - this is terrible for a million reasons, not the least of which is the depressing thought of running around an empty game world with nothing to have fun killing. Please, Dark Souls modders, consider a mod that fixes this and brings back one of the selling points of the series: the unforgiving difficulty - in DS1 if you screwed up and died on a boss, you don't just get to try again, you have to fight your way back. The idea of cutting off infinite spawns is down to core game balacing, if a mod to change the limit was made and used it would ruin the developers vision of how to game is meant to be played, in reference to core gameplay. Guest Trul
@cicala: and what is this vision if this is not more accessibility? And if a mod to change texture of an armour was made and used, would it ruin the developers vision of how the armour is meant to look like, in reference to core artistic vision --> ie. yes, we discuss modds and we want to play the game like we feel it is meant to be played --> eg. we want to play the game like we played DeS and DaS1 so we need infinite respawn
