Skree000
you are correct, it has been re-written. I liked the actual polyboost better as a plugin imho, but 2010 has some really nice things. Just things i dont need. crutches ftl!

I'm not sure what you mean by re-written, but from my experience the PolyBoost tools are nearly the same as the PolyBoost plug-in. Essentially what Autodesk did was merge the Max poly tools (like Bridge, Connect, etc.) and the PolyBoost poly tools (Loop selection, PolyDraw, etc.) into one dock called the "Modeling Ribbon." They've even added some features (or at least ones I didn't know existed in PB or Max), like a bunch of selection algorithms, QuickLoop, and Topology redrawing tools. Also, I find the Modeling Ribbon much more readable and accessible than the plugin was. My name is Todd, you can reach me at extension 1234 on the Autodesk Sales line. We work on commission :P

Maya is sooooo weak in anything but fx and animation... well snapping is nicer, and viewport navigation, but the rest is a writeoff for games industry =( Not hoping for anything though, would be significant amounts of work and unlikely to happen anyways. Just dont really see why Maya has such draconic modelling capabilities.. =(
