Iredior - Another Update

With the Oblivion release a mere 10 days away we had hoped to be able to release at least a beta version of Iredior today, but unfortunately the files are not quite ready even for that. Iredior is just too big a mod, especially for such a small core team as ours. If we had another year, then perhaps we could do this mod justice. :(

 

At the moment we are trying to get the main quest fully playable, and hope to have that done by the middle of next week at the latest (depending on how many bugs we find, and how tricky the required scripts prove to be).

 

Unfortunately this will still leave a good number of unfurnished interiors, a large number of broken/buggy faction quests and NPCs which don't have the amount of characterisation we'd been hoping to give them - but at least it will give anyone who is interested in Iredior a chance to wander around the city.

 

It's a pity that after all the hard work that has gone into Iredior over the last 3 years we're now running out of time - but so it goes.

 

Some of us may continue working on Iredior even after the Oblivion release (and I've noticed that according to the Bethesda newsletter Call of Cthulhu is also finally getting released for PC... ), but at a much less frantic pace.
