Damn, you guys have good taste. For me, it's "Empire Strikes Back" hands down. Why? Because it was dark, mysterious, and the outcome wasn't cookie cutter happy like so many movies. The writing and plot was so much better than ROTJ, IMO. If the new Star Wars movies were modeled after the dark atmosphere present in Empire Strikes Back, they'd be instant classics. Alas, Lucas created the monstrosity that is JarJar, while stuffing the movie with copius amounts of pop culture, creating an utterly unconvincing series for me.
