I want to know what religion you two are basing your beleifs about aliens on, because nowhere in the bible does it say that life doesn't exist outside of earth. because if you are trying to have truth by omition I'd like to point out that nowhere does it say there is such a thing as a computer, but I'm pretty sure that they exist. In fact in genesis it mentions beings that live outside of the garden before adam existed.

I agree that, statistically, there must be life elsewhere. However, given the vast distances it is quite likely that we will never know for sure.

True DaCuda, it'd be extremely arrogant for us to presume that suddenly, after the millions of years this planet has been habitable, aliens would "pop" out in this amazingly short time we humans have been inhabiting earth. And as I said before - I think our chances of discovering an alien race are far inferior to them discovering us. <_<
