bhsup
http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1653963-bhsup-formal-warning-issued/ Yes, that is a lovely way to be treated. Not a private message addressing the issue. My username forever emblazed in the forum as though I'm some sort of common criminal. Yeah, I didn't realize a mod I uploaded wasn't permitted because it contained some original skyrim files. I do regret that and I'm sorry, but this is a ridiculous way to treat someone who thought enough of the site to become a lifetime premium member. Well, I have deleted all five of my mods because I don't want to dare risk something that would possibly cause my account to be banned since apparently you guys are completely lacking in common decency and courtesy. But what chaps my hide is that tonight I tried to read the forum discusssion for the following mod: MEUITM - http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect/mods/1/ What happened? I click on posts and then view forum thread, which sends me to: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?showtopic=1247570 which gives me the lovely message of " You do not have permission to view this forum." I fire up IE and paste in the URL and I can view it just fine not logged in. Log in in IE and *BOOM* right back to "You do not have permission to view this forum" again. Thanks. Really. Dark0ne
From the ToS you agree to each time you post comments or upload files to the site: Public records of moderator actionsAll formal warnings and bans are recorded on our forums. We believe by publicising the warnings and bans we hand out we are completely transparent to our user base about what we’re warning and banning people for. We endeavour to ensure that the information we provide gives a clear reason as to why the individual has been warned or banned from using the site so that users can learn from previous mistakes as well as to enlighten other users why certain users have been banned. We do not want to have to deal with users regularly contacting us asking why a specific user has been banned. Similarly by publicising the bans we hand out we are able to counteract the lies and slander that may occur in other communities when a disgruntled banned member tries to bad mouth Nexus Mods by lying about why they have been banned. By using Nexus Mods you understand and agree to having details surrounding any disciplinary action you are given being made public knowledge and you understand that you have no rights for removal of said publication. I'd wager a guess that the ability to not view that thread is completely unrelated to your formal warning, as there are no restrictions on your account that should affect that. I'd be interested if other members are having a difficult in accessing it as well. It should still work from the file page itself, however. E.g., click here. bhsup
Yes, I can read the posts fine on the mod page itself. But those are in reverse order and I prefer to read mods that have a lot of posts as a forum thread due to this. Still, it's a functional workaround in the meantime. chevenga
I'd be interested if other members are having a difficult in accessing it as well. I too get the "You do not have permission" error if I try to go to http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?showtopic=1247570.
Oubliette
I tried from the link and the mod page as well, that forum thread link always gives the "you do not have permission" message
