HornedReaperMJL
I can tell you fellas graphic card and system speed dont mean much to morrowind it eats it like a child with candy :o . I'm running a Pentium 3 1ghz 256mb ram Geforce FX 5200 128mb ram and i get crashes constantly as well as the slowness i may try turning down the shadow's all the way off see if it helps but when it snows it lags (i mean that litrally in bloodmoon when it snows it lags). Taking down the FPS to about 75 or so tends to help a bit but not overly noticable that i could tell but from what i hear i'll take a look at this tweak manual you guys are talking about. Who knows it might actually help
Darmoth
Well. I tried 8/16 buffering, that worked... so then I tried 16/32 just to see what happens... back to crashing. Soooo, I'm gonna turn it back down. I also disabled hardware sound as some have suggested. The only noticeable difference is that being underwater sounds like crap... :P
Switch
BUT it was a 1 ghz processor. so maybe thats the problem?i think that on the box of the game it says the recommended minimum should be at least 800 MHz. i could be wrong, since i don't have the box here with me, but i do think that that is the problem. nah its 500 MHz Intel Pentium III, Celeron, or AMD Athlon i always keep the case close 2 me at all times :P
