Backup your skyrimprefs.ini to a safe location. Then delete the one you're currently using, run Skyrim to rebuild the .ini and see if the problem still occurs

Ok, all you have to do now is add your previous tweaks to the current ini.

 

If you really want to know which "bad tweak" (although personally I think all of them are) you made add a few at a time run the game and see if it's there again, then simply do not add that tweak.

No, I use a 512 card and by presets I'm assuming .ini tweaks right?

 

You can change any settings you want like you did previously, but bad tweaks will lead to issues like in your screenshot and other issues. I'm not saying don't tweak, a lot of people do and they seem to be ok, just make sure you do it right.

 

People talk about configurator a lot. You might want to look into that.
