How would i increase Crit damage in console?

there's a mod i was gonna get that adds some perks but the only thing i really wanted from it was a perk that boosted crit damage. game file's getting huge and i see no reason to d/l a 30,000kb mod if i can do same thing in console. can't use GECK tho as can't get it to install properly (broken paths i think). so console command to up crit damage by 50%? thanks

thank you. i had seen that command but i thought it was for the Chance of a crit to occur. not to boost the damage of the crit itself. i had tried

player.modav Critdamage 50

 

but it didn't work. you sure "player.modav CritChance 50" is to raise the Damage??

Sure it does. If you give criticals a greater chance to occur, over time they will inflict more damage. I guess it's all in how you look at it.

 

Of course, if you *really* want to change the damage, you could use FOSE and this command:

 

SetWeaponCritDamage

 

I'm not sure what the first parameter is, so you'd have to play around with it.

Also, there's player.setav critmult 100, it sets your critical chance to 100%.
