Laser
Strange, the topic of a "pleaseur comma" never came up. Anyways, here's my thoughts. Utaopia is entirly possable, we just have to accept certian facts. 1) We are countless atoms. Every thought we have is simply a chemical reaction and electricity, every emotion, every thought, every thing. We arn't even alive in a scence, we're just lots of balls of existance that is reacting to other balls in the only way possable (and so chemical reactions acure). 2) Evolution and survival of the fitest have made us what we are, not a god. We started out as primortial goo and after milions of years were more or lessed forced to accept 2 terms: A) We must make another generation of us. B) We must survive.Every thing we do directly relates to the need to acomplish one or the other term.NOTE: Even these terms are just the product of endless chemical reactions. And we must also accept that we can't answer some things. 1) Think of space, they say nothing is there. Not a single atom, nothing. But there is somthing there, dimension. We can go there so it's not nothing, it's just nothing that we can use accept as a place to put things. So what is a place like that has no dimension? Well, you'd have to leave our little endless bubble of existance to find out. I don't know how to leave our bubble, and none I know does, so you're stuck here. So we don't know what other bubbles are like, or even if there is any. And if we could some how leave our bubble, we'd probly die. With no dimension there can be nothing, no atoms, no people. So we can't go visit who ever it is that lives in the next bubble or who is living out side of the bubble, and they probly can't visit us. Cuz they would have no atoms, no electric signal to think with, they would nothing. Now think of time. Time is just the speed in wich the chemical reactions that are us react. So realy time may not exist in other bubbles scence they may not relie on chemical reactions. Try to think of what started all these chemical reactions that eventually became what we know of as our space and planets. To put it in a simple way, think of our bubble as a seteled glass of water. Nothing in that water is moving, not even an atom. We all know movment doesn't just happen, and so time doesn't just start. Some how the water started to move, reactions accoured, atoms shifted, exploded, bonded, time started. Some one touched the water and a ripple of chemical reactions is the result. We're in that ripple right now. And soon enough the ripple will turn into a slight jittering of the water, then the water will setal, chemical reactions will stop, and time will end. So all we know is that we here, we can't leave and no one's coming, and eventually it'll all end. So instead of wasting our so called "time" trying to figure out what is out side our glass of water, and who/what touched it, let' just enjoy the ripples and the chemical reactions. We shouldn't spend our lives killing each other becouse other people chemical make up makes him black and not peach, and we shouldn't try to find a meaning to our lives, just enjoy it. Don't ask why. He touched the water, now eat the damn twinkie. (Me and my friend used the term "Twinkie" to describe our bubble, and all chemical reactions in it that occur.) So to now that the meaning of life has been discovered, the perfect society would follow it as best as possable. In my opinion the only true way to have real fun is to have to work to get it, so no plesure coma would be satisfying. So what ever the utopia is, it can't be to much of a good thing. *re-reads post* Whoops, I think I derialed the topic a bit.
Marxist ßastard
I think you've derailed your brain a little bit... But yes, a world full of cynics would be a perfect world indeed. And as for your second point #1, I'd like to know who, exactly, thinks that there is nothing beyond the planet Earth.
Lord Of The Cheese
Did anyone tell you you´re crazy and your thougths are contraditory! :P well maybe his thoughts are like in the movie Dogma......or maybe he has lost his mind.... And as for your second point #1, I'd like to know who, exactly, thinks that there is nothing beyond the planet Earth. Bubble doesn't mean earth. Bubble means every thing in our universe up to the end of it (if there is one). Lets say all our laws of physics and matter and dimension is just one "bubble" in a bubble bath. If we could go to past dimension, as so we are not 6 feet tall, 2 feet wide, and 2 feet deep but rather nothing in all directions, we would be either in another bubble, or just not in out bubble. I'm not stupid enough to think there's nothing past Earth, but I'm imature enough to think that everything revolvs around me : :P . Twinkieverse? No no no no no.... Twinkie doesn't mean an acuall twinkie. It mean every thing in our bubble, and every thing that happans in it.
Eltiraaz
I haven't lost my mind, and I'm not contradicting myself. This is how I see things and it makes perfect sense to me. Your thoughts to me are completely ridiculous and senseless, but I didn't attack you. If you had decency, you would have respected my opinion, and kept yours to yourself, like I did. I find that a bit contradictory, because acording with what you sayyou can´t be both things.you would have respected my opinion, and kept yours to yourself, like I did. Isn´t this a debate forum? We are here to discuss our opinions........ aren´t we?
Racius
The perfect world would never exist with Humans... We are too greedy, self absorbed, stupid and inconsiderate to make any kind of perfect society, Communism, if implimented into a nation of perfect hard workers, might actually work, otherwise, take NORMAL people and everyone is equal (as communism dictates as should be), But some people are more equal than others. As for religion, Ill belive in god when he comes to my door with a 5 grand Alienware PC, a copies of all the TES games (past present and future :D ) and proves Human science wrong. A kind half OT thing here... If the Dinosaures never died out, Humans would never have existed (no chance or need to evolve) and the world would be ruled by the decendants of the Velociraptor, for its sheer intelligence and team instinct, if they did evolve to a state similar to us, thier technology would be far beyond ours, and they would most likely not have wars (team survival instincts), along with that, there population would be immence, Two humans can produce (on average) 1-2 young in 9 months, Raptors could produce a clutch of 6 eggs in 3 months, the eggs would hatch within 2-3 weeks  . There is some scientific professor who is a kinda Evolution guru who came up with this theory, and by the way nature has adapted over the millions of years... Kinda wierd aint i? Beaten by an Ugly Stick
A lot to read here now, interesting.... I myself feel that the world could become a better place If Society were to be shattered and forged anew in such a way that money was useless and one could be positioned in society by their contributions toward society, rather than personal success. The "prize" of the economy not wealth but wellfare. or in the least:A Twinkie for everybody!
