batesmotel34
The console comand appears to be simply: SAVE name where "name" is what you want to call the save game. Seems pretty painless. (Found the command by trying the obvious and lucking out :-) ) On the whole typing ~ plus the command is probably faster than bringing up the menu and choosing save. Stampede
Thanks for that Bates. I feared having to wade into the official forums for an answer.
loveme4whoiam
Nice one Bates, I shall have to remember it. I still think its dumb that they couldn't have made that a menu option, how much extra work could it have been? And if it was to pander to the Xbox kiddies (no offence) then that just plain sucks. Thanks for the appreciation Cap'n Puffy, but try to keep posts on-topic. Feel free to PM me for discussion of the fine art of Terry Pratchett though :D And just as an aside, OMG Switch's guar has changed!!!oneone
Cyborg16
On the plus side I can tell you that saves are pretty quick in general --- I've left the default autosave on loading (into or out of an interior area) and that can be useful...
Switch
Have to say thank you to you, Bates. That console command is a lifesaver. ^^ I can't imagine why it's not a menu option, seems rather silly. And yes, the guar has been updated! Decided with Oblivion coming out, it was time for an avatar/sig change (well, it has been 3 years). :P
