alonsomartinez
I followed the Creating A Custom Sword tutorial on the CS wiki and after an intense 1 and a half hours of reading the tutorial word for word my sword was finished. After I exported it like they said to I opened it up in nifscope and it wasn't there .It was invisible I'm guessing and all Nifscope showed was NiNode NiStringExtraData and NiFooter. I know how to make weapons in Blender but Im pretty sure I screwed up on the UV Map or something like that. If anybody has any insight or might know what I do wrong please let me know. The tutorial can be found here http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index...er/Custom_Sword :thanks:
alex2avs
exactly what you clicked to export ? it seems that you might have selected the collision box instead of your sword. go in nifskope and select view>>Havok . That will confirm if what i said is right .
LHammonds
If nothing was in your exported NIF, I would think that you did not press "A" enough times to ensure everything was selected first before exporting. LHammonds

alonsomartinez
On the same topic about the sword , when i equip it to a player they turn invisible and only their head and the sword appear. Is this problem still with Blender or Nifscope
alex2avs
the sword turns invisible because you don't have a normal map for the sword's texture(s). Look on the CS Wiki at the texturing/retexturing section.

alonsomartinez
Hmm I tried that and made a normal map and all and there in the same folder and still when i equip the sword on the player he turns invisible and only his head and the sword are showing.
