One good use for those busted up highways and those

I started to notice a pattern in the game with those billboards and elevated busted up highways, and that where ever they are you'll find raiders close by and that the billboards with the small ledges are good for leaving Turrets or portable laser Turrets on, the Levelers Truck Trailer v15 mod has a button that gives you portable laser Turrets to take with you and I started planting them around the waste land where the raiders and enclave keep showing up at!..

I also planted some near Megaton within the walls and around the walls outside, I use MMM's increased increased mod, and a mod that adds snipers with snipers nest around the walls of megaton and the raiders still get into megaton!..

I know it be easier to use the no respawn mod, but I couldn't get it to work with MMM's increased increased mod, so I place laser torrets around the waste land where I find billboards with ledges and busted elevated highways are!..

Owe the one thing I noticed about these portable lasers torrets from the Levelers Truck Trailer v15 mod is that they don't attack the brotherhood or outcast or regular citizen's of the waste land, they only attack the enclave, raiders and creatures!..

I used to leave landmines around the waste land, but they cause game crash's and game slow downs, plus the good guys can get hurt or killed by them and become your enemy when you don't wont them to be!..

Owe I also put laser torrets ontop of GNR's roof because the mutants keep coming back and attacking it, I use the setgs fjumpheightmin in the cheat console window to get onto GNR's roofs, I also leave laser torrets on flat roofs and lamp posts, but it takes a long time to land ontop of those lamp posts!..

What do you think of leaving traps around the waste land? do you do it?

Unless you put mines in the path of your enemies, it's a waste. Honestly, even mines sometimes fail to cause damage for some weird reason, so it's hard to imagine leaving traps or snares or whatever lying around in the wasteland. Inside buildings, however, is a completely different issue.
