Shadowrun77
I was wondering if someone could make a mod to remove the restriction of Leliana being the only one able to use Marjolaine's Recurve bow, its one of the best bow's in the game and I would like to be able to use it on my pc Dalish elf that's mostly focused on archery for attacking. Silverite
AFAIK you can't remove restrictions with Winter Forge.
nyphani
cant remove restrictions with it, but you could make a blank copy of the bow then add the same stats to it, so basically the same idea.
Shadowrun77
I tired using the winter forge mod to create a copy, but I seem to be having trouble cause I can't seem to match stats that are on the weapn, I get the +3 cunning, but I can't seem to find the correct thing for +3 damage, and I'm honestly not sure what the original's rapid aim modifer is set to so I don't over do it. That why I'm hoping for a mod to just remove the restriction of Leliana being the only one to use it kind of like the mods that allow other humans to wear Morrigan's robes. TGBlank
save, place the bow or robes or wevs on the anvil, talk to the forger and ask her to make a copy. The copy will have no restrictions.Once the copy is made you can put it again on the forge and further modify it if that's what you wish. EDIT:Also, you can place the robes/bow on the anvil, then ask the forger to make a new item. choose the kind and the model and whatnot, then under properties, go to properties explanation and select "[anvil] copy properties from item" or sumthing like that. Your new different-looking item will import the properties from the robes/bow (important for say, morrigan's robes which don't have model for all race/gender combinations). Porcelyn
I've removed restrictions with winter forge. To do it I had to wipe the item clean and then select remove restrictions. So it's not the greatest if the item has stats that can't be added by the current winter forge.
TGBlank
ehm, that bow haves no stat that can't be added through winter forge.
Phaenan
* just passing by * Naah, I'm sure they can be added via the Winter Forge. Simply use TWF property copy function. It doesn't care whether the properties are available separately in the dialog or not, it just blindly copy. And as long as the recipient item properties were wiped clean beforehand, it should work fine.
