Deagletime
Okay so I got the steed from doing some quests *ahem* Don't want to spoil it but it's from the DB, so I got arrested a couple of times and I lost track of my horse... is there a default place I might be able to find it @? Any info would be appreciated.

Adras
I believe if you are too far away from your horse or if you lose it and it gets killed then it wont go back to the cities with you. I had the same problems. Lost mine in the wilderness.
Blood Hawk
supposably npcs have the ability to steal your horse. I doubt you will ever get it back if you lose it tho... I have some horse questions (dont have enough gold to get one yet) 1- If I fast travel with my horse it is put in the stable, right2- If i ride my horse to a town, how do i get it into the stable? 3- If i ride my horse to an underground quest area, do i just leave the horse outside? Marxist ßastard
If you fast travel to any city, the horse will be left in the stables right outside one of that city's gates. Fast travel anywhere from there, and you will automatically retrieve your horse, I beleve. For any location not in a city, if you were previously mounted, you will remain mounted. Otherwise, the horse will be somewhere near you, and prone to wandering off a few meters -- hard to miss it with all the racket it makes, though. and 3. You can't activate a door while mounted. The situations you've described are impossible. The stables themselves are all fast travel locationss, in case you were wondering. They're treated like wilderness inns, villages, or farmhouses. Blood Hawk
3. You can't activate a door while mounted. The situations you've described are impossible. What i ment was if i rode out to some ruins or something and wanted to go underground in a catacomb or such, i would get off my horse and go in. Then when i come out, would my horse be where i left it

Unless you have the horses never move mod. But yes, dismount and go inside, come out, mount.. ride around.
Uppermandible
Well I bought my horse and everytime i fast travel a msg states that he has been placed in the stables. Wher does one buy horses? I don't have the game, But I play it frequently, and I haven't figured that out yet. I did steal a guy's horse, then lost track of it in a stable, and stole a new one. It sayed put just fine. I have ended up using the north gate to Choroll (sp?) more often than the south one which has a stable and this seems to be how the horse has been "stabled". You can buy one at most stables if you have enough money. The Imperial city stable doesn't have them for sale. Apparently the Ork who runs the place tends to eat them or something. ;) I know the stable at Skingrad sells em for 1000 during the daytime. No sales at night. -dc4bs
