hair and body mods for males

so this is my real experience with mods. I've downloaded some mods, and I would like a modded player character to go with it, however all the mods that I have been able to find that modify PCs are sex mods for females. Can I get a link to any mods for races or hair styles for male characters?

Well Robert's Male Body v5 Beta for a start - if you didn't already have that. I don't know about hair mods. There are also a lot of custom race mods that have male halves.

A lot custom races are females only. I downloaded bunch to try.

For all of them you will need HGEC body, because only few support Roberts female or UFF or any other alternative female models.

 

Only few races are actually both male and female.

And you will need Roberts V4 or V5 to make them work.

But in both cases you will need a Custom Race Fix. Without it you will never be able to leave prison at beginning of game.

 

You will find in every mod a read me file. It explains how to set it up and supported races and also requirements.

let me clarify something real quick I'm not looking for male nude modes or anything of that nature. just some cool custom male races or hairs. Just something to add some uniqueness to the character character.

roberts body adds either a nude or underwear variant. You would only see it when you have no armor or cloths on, you would have do also download the resoected armor replacer pack for that body.

That is what we been telling you.

All hairs and faces require custom body models.

Almost every available hair, face, tattoo mod require custom races.

Custom races require custom body set ups.

You wont be able to use custom races without it.

There is very little customization available to default races.

Not all. The OP just needs to check each race's requirements to see if vanilla body meshes are supported.

 

But if you want a specific suggestion, male gothic bretons are for vanilla male bodies or Robert's. If you use the age maps from IFT facial textures you can even take away that babyface-with-a-beard look and get a more masculine character. Using those requires dropping copies into the directory with this race's facial texture, then renaming them to match the face texture. The male gothic breton is available with or without facial hair, with or without scar.

k so i downloaded robert's male body mod and its only loading an esp file. in the data files menu its telling me that "this is not a valid oblivion data file" am i missing something?
