Got a problem with file upload in my project

Hi,

 

I have an issue trying to upload files for my project. When the file is uploaded and then try to download it, an sql error appear in the download window (too fast to read it). Then the file is downloaded but has a size of 0kb.

 

I didn't have any problem uploading same kind of files before tonight.

 

Any idea ?

With the neew server configurations it will not be available immediately. Wait at least 30 minutes to allow for the next scheduled resync to occur and it should be then available.

Do you mean I upload the file and wait 30 min to download it ? Or wait 30 min to upload the file ?

 

I am trying to upload the file since 4 hours now

Wait 30 minutes after you upload it before trying to download it. The serves have scheduled resyncs every 30 minutes.

I have added a new file size check on the file servers so any 0 byte files will now be flagged as such and you won't download corrupt archives. As Buddah says the file servers resync every 30 minutes. It used to be a lot sooner but now that the file servers are in the US and the web servers are in the UK it means the resynchs happen at much slower speeds and all sorts of problems happen when the resynchs overlap.
