ImWarpedd
Hello reader, I am creating this thread because I need some help with modding my game. I'm trying to get back into Skyrim now that I have a pretty strong computer. My issue is I have added a pretty good amount of mods, and whereas most other games I play have literally 0 problems running on maximum everything, Skyrim seems to be having pretty hard frame drops and lag overall with the current mods I have on. So, because of this, I want to re-mod my game completely, not so much the gameplay aspect because I'm pretty content with that part of my game. If anyone can appoint me to a good amount of graphic mods that can keep my game running great while looking great, I'd really appreciate it. I have a good idea of how to mod, although i'm not very familiar with ENBs. I know this is a pretty long post but thanks for reading and bearing with me. :)
Anikma
What are your system specs? We can't tell you what graphic mods will drop your FPS if we don't know how good your computer actually is.

Intel® Core i5 CPU [email protected] 2.67GHz Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 gb(Pretty sure it's more but whatever), doesn't say much else unless i'm in the wrong area. SaintClare
I'd like to direct you to a Nexus member named Gopher, who has a YouTube channel and two series having to do with Skyrim Mods, this one will get you started And this one is a highlight series of great mods that have been released (note that several videos may now be out of date since he's been doing this series since Skyrim's Release; I recommend starting with the Anniversary Episodes and going from there ) Both series can be found in full on Gopher's YouTube page. Hope this helped. Edited May 17, 2014 by SaintClare

I'm trying to figure out why skyrim would be lagging while games like titanfall darksouls 2 and others are running at maximum with 0 issues while skyrim (And I've been using things like boss and wryebash to try to clean mod files and create load orders) are not. I'll take another look at his videos, but i'm at a loss here and I just really want to enjoy skyrim.
SaintClare
If you still use BOSS, I want you to know that it's masterlists are out of date. You should use LOOT instead.

hunterrock
hey buddy, just a few things really. You didn't list your graphics card, so we still aren't sure what specs you have and we dont know your mods, load order, specific problems etc Skyrim is poorly optimized, I have an i7 4770, gtx 780 3gb and 8gb ram and it will slow down for me with high intensity graphics mods. In all honesty, you probably need lower resolution mods, try all 1k resloution. lower the shadow quality too, get ssme and enboost if not already
