mechsaber
here are several wierd things that happened on my warrrior. 1. i was walking outside bravil and i notice something strange... i look behind me and there they were. twenty minatours heading right into bravil.. i'm thinking what the heck are they doing there and the guard is jsut sitting there watching them walk by... so i attack one and of all the things that could of happened.. instead of beaing attacked by all the minatours.. I GOT ARRESTED. that guard was bribed or something.. so when i pay my fine i walk out and to my suprise there was a lich and 2 dread zombies waitin for me.. they went beserk on me and the guards dint even here the yelling.. and the swinging of swords and the explosion of spells right outside the catsle and guard barraks.. so i kill the lich and his buddies and go back outside to see the cows.. so i'm thinking how am i gonna kill them with this guard here. Then it hits me.. i have a rage scroll in my pocket . I cast it and they all go beserk they kill the gaurd and the stable guy, Then with and evil look they turn to me.. i draw my enchanted blade.. get my potions ready. and the fight begins. 5 minutes later there me on the bridge with twenty dead minatour bodies there. a dead guard and a dead stable aid. its a sad day when a town lets twenty minatour a lich and 2 dread zombies just walk right in. 2. i was looking for the black axe in a fort. so i find the fort but the thing is right when i get off my horse and walk up to it... something scary happened... apperently 25 minatour in that fort wanted to come and kill me and the horse.. i look at them and i run.. (this is before i learned i needed a enchanted blade to fight thru these forts) i run and look back for a second and i see my horse go down.. so i jump down the hill and 5 of them followed me i took out the warbrand i found ealier and killed them off one by one... but before i went inside i decided to enchant a weopon with some major flame power. When i go back i take a few steppes in and there they are, i freakin army of minitour ready to tear me apart 20 minutse and 75 minatour bodies later i take the axe and run out of there... adrenalin oblivion sure does some wierd things to the ai of monsters and guards... Eric Draven
Excellent thread, had a good laugh reading a lot of the replies. One incident I witnessed which gave me a laugh was, I was wandering along one of the pathways high in the mountainour region of Cyrodiil when a troll jumped out from a higher ledge at me. Lucky for me, however, it miscalculated it's leap and ended up jumping off the cliff falling to it's death. Another incident occured when I was ransacking one of the many caves throughout the game. Sneaking along I spotted what I thought was a bandit ahead of me, so, I equipt my bow, took aim and fired. I must have only hit my foe in the arm or leg because it only did minimal damage. Startled by the attack, the bandit drew his weapon and looked around for his attacker only to see a bandit bowmen and 3 other bandits further down the tunnel. So, he attacked them. Four against one, so it's needless to say that he was annilhilated. The 4 other bandits then turned their attention to me, I was stupidly sitting out in the open watching them fight amongst themselves. I began my retreat knowing that being a low-level witch hunter, I knew that I wouldn't be able to defeat 4 bandits. Fortunately, the bandits triggered a trap causing logs to fall from above them, crushing all four in one go. Five bandits with one poorly aimed arrow. :D
Rhydderch Hael
...the guard is jsut sitting there watching them walk by... so i attack one and of all the things that could of happened.. .Lazy bum of a guard. Reminds me of the time I was in Anvil and had to stop a robbery in the general store. Rather than slay the thieves inside the place and leave their corpses decorating the shop floor, I lured them out into the dockside before attacking them. This way I can get a little help from the guard standing watch by the gate. Danged fool of a guard simply stood there and watched me take on two bandits at the same time. Anvil's finest, hard at work. When I walked up and talked to the guard, the first thing he said was, "Is there a problem?" I looked over at the two dead thieves. "Not anymore, you skooma-addled mouthbreather!"

Chode Master
This isn't really an incident, but does anyone think that the Redguard race is a little bit of a stereotype.
Chode Master
Have you ever seen guards fight other guards? I was using the gray fox cowl, that you get after you beat the Thieves Gulid, and I attacked a guard(because when you take off the gray fox cowl and yield, they stop and you have no fine except when you put on the gray fox cowl). One of the watch captains (with the silver and gold armor) came over and attacked the guard and then a bunch of citizens attacked the guard too. Then a bunch more guards joined in and helped the guard I attacked in the first place. After A while, there was probably at least 10 dead citizens, 15 dead guards, and 1 dead watch captain. o_O
Rhydderch Hael
This isn't really an incident, but does anyone think that the Redguard race is a little bit of a stereotype.Actually, I do not. It's the Wood Elves that are a stereotype. That is to say, they are the race that display a consistent aura of demeanor and reaction from me. The other races are too varying in the quality and manner of their characters, but Wood Elves seem more to share more of the same things between them. In short (pun intended), they remind me a lot of the Ferengi from Star Trek. The male ones, especially. The first time I sought "Unfriendly Competition", I kept hearing this and that about Thornrir. About his shady business practices and what he was doing had to be against the law. When I walked through the door of the Copious Coinpurse for the first time, I could not help but mutter with contempt, "Bosmer. I should have known..." Rhydderch Hael
I— I just loved standing around in the Five Claws Tavern and watch the three drunken Fighters' Guild mates give the barkeep a hard time. The banter being flung around was worth a few grins. "More ale, sweetcheeks!""I'm never letting an Orc drink here again!"
