PineappleSurprise
I've got this annoying little problem with the Fallout NV GECK where it always seems to have all of your DLCs (Master Files) selected by default when it starts up. This means that I'm having to constantly check off all the DLCs from the file list before loading anything else; At least a couple of times I've forgotten to do this and only found out a while later that the mod I was working on suddenly requires all the DLCs I have. I know that this problem is probably something that affects almost everyone's GECK, but does anyone know of a way to get rid of it?
chucksteel
Open your games Data folder and sort by file type. find the .nam files (there is one for every DLC you have) Delete them the game doesn't need them and all they do is force load DLC for PS3 and Xbox versions of the game. Once you reopen the GECK you'll see the DLC are no longer force loaded.
PineappleSurprise
Just deleted those .NAM files and my GECK is no longer force-loading the DLCs. Always wondered what those files were for but never bothered to find out. Thanks for the help.
