NucaCola
I have a couple mods that run on FOSE and every time I start up FO3 I keep getting messages saying I don't have FOSE to run this mod and that I shouldn't save. I have seen videos of people running FOSE through FOMM. Instead of the words "run Fallout 3" its says "run FOSE." How do I get that? Because I don't want to have one shortcut to FOMM and then have to use a second shortcut for FOSE.I haven't found a video on how to do this yet. NucaCola
That doesn't help me.I already have FOSE installed what I want to do is have it run though FOMM. When I run it though steam with mods, it works fine. But when I run it from FOMM, I keep getting popups saying I need FOSE. I already changed to exe file names and everything and it doesn't help. I even deleted to original falloutloader.exe hoping it would be forced to use the FOSE version when I run it though FOMM and it still acts like it's the vanilla version. I have watched videos on installing FOSE into the main FO3 folder and FOMM into the main folder and nothing has changed. M48A5
You need to learn how to use the "Search" feature that is available at the top of all the Nexus mod pages. A quick search using the term "steam" provided this: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/19288/?
NucaCola
Yeah I already saw that video and I followed all those instructions to the letter and FOSE still won't run though FOMM. I can run it though steam but that's not what I'm looking for. I want to run the FOSE version of FO3 though FOMM. And that's not what the video shows. M48A5
What you need to do is uninstall your game and delete any and all files associated with Fallout3. Redownload and reinstall the game outside of "Program Files" and outside of Steam. Then start re-installing FOMM, FOSE and all your mods.Somewhere on Steam, there are instructions on how to do this. That's all there is to it.
