MonsterHunterMaster
i had an 360 too (yes i had cause i got the red ring two times!) and my friend also has 360, but then bought ps3 cause he said 360 suc*s...Now i also got a ps3 and i have to say its much better than 360...When i had my xbox, i always was like saying that xbox is much better than ps3, but right now i've gotta say that none of these two consoles is better than the other...Except the game pad you cant see a lotta difference during gaming...There is one point that makes me mad about microsoft is, that when the xbox 360 came out, you have to pay another 100€ (i dont know, bout 100-200 bucks)to be able to watch hd videos or an extra game pad otherwise you always have to buy batteries... :wallbash:

AncientSpaceAeon
You could buy an X360, and when the ring of death comes up, you could search for those "repair yourself" tutorials. Problem is, it's both risky and maybe illegal. But if the money it's no problem, you could buy the PS3.
MonsterHunterMaster
I heard of them, but just those x-box videos where you should put a warm pillow or something aroun it and then turn it on for 20 mins so it overheats..never know what you can achieve with that...Wasnt the red ring cause of overheating? So why overheat it then again?I would better wait those 3 weeks than having an completely destroyed xbox at home.... bben46
@Ancient Aeon Problem is, it's both risky and maybe illegal. Illegal - No, but it is against MS EULA which they seem to think overrides any real laws. To be illegal it would have to violate some real law. They say their EULA is a legal document which gives them the right to do whatever they want with the box you paid for. So, according to MS, they get to make the law to suit themselves, not the law makers of the various countries where they sell it. Risky - Yes, as MS will kick you out of their 'community' for doing anything they don't approve of to THEIR (Not Your) box. They control everything you do on it and claim the right to shut you down for doing anything they do not approve of - like fixing the problems they put in yourself. And repairing it yourself is one of those 'unauthorized modifications' that will absolutely get you banned from the MS 360 site. No more downloads, upgrades, patches or anything else. As I commented, they recently banned a million users for unauthorized modifications. And refuse to even allow any defense from those banned. Obviously the better choice? :whistling:
Robok
Is it me or is the OP just trolling or something? Anyhow, way I see it, both consoles are just the frame in which you'll put your games into. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. Now thing is, what really matters, is what (type of) games you're into, i.e. exclusives for both consoles. And maybe also how many people you know own either of those consoles. I have a PS3, it's a good console IMO, free online multiplayer, blu-ray player, MGS4 (was selling point for me :P) amongst other things. I couldn't really care less about the graphics, my computer alone can beat both the PS3 and Xbox 360 any day of the week, and it has, so if I was really concerned about that I'd just stick with PC gaming. My experience with Games for Windows Live has been nothing but annoying, it feels very intrusive, the updates are really shitty, and it's usually more of a hindrance than an aid. And the whole pay-per-month thing for WL Gold and all that, not too good of a deal for me.
AncientSpaceAeon
Wait . . . I thought you already have a X360. Why you made this poll ? Just . . . don't buy the wii. (I'm so glad it's kinda a gift for me)
