[Request] Configurable thumbnail image for new mods

When uploading images for a new mod, we get the option to set the hot file image (which may never be seen) exactly the way we want it. We also get the option of setting the background image for the mod page. But the thumbnail is taken automatically from the first image without any choice in the matter.

 

Could it be possible to allow us to crop the image to show what we want of that picture much like we can with the other two images? After all, it is the thumbnail image that is first seen.

Sounds like a good idea!

 

Until then, here's a possible workaround:

 

If you click on Images in the Admin panel (top right on the mod page), you can drag your mod's images around. Upload a cropped version of what you want in the thumbnail, and drag it up to the top left, so it's the first image. It should appear as the thumbnail.
