Kytsurai
Wich is better, why ? Personal preference here, but I want to know weather I should change to UNP or UNPB, And apparently 7B is good too, but I heard bad things from 7B sometimes. Curently use CBBE Slim but not a lot of mods support the slim body so I kinda want to make a change, I DO NOT LIKE SKIMPY OUTFITS, I just want more feminine, and something that fits the female body better where you can distinctly tell their female. Jeir
This one again, hm? Look for the 'CBBE vs UNP' thread around somewhere for an older version of this topic, although I think that one was just for those two body mods, and not the 60 others. Anyway, 'better' and 'best' are completely subjective. Now that's out of the way. I have and will probably always use CBBE (Slim-based BodySlide body). It's the only body mod (out of the 60-ish ones on Nexus alone) that comes close to my own body shape, and is the only one where I can make it fit my own preferences. All of the other body mods either have huge or implant-like gravity defying breasts, far-too-wide shoulders, or generally, in my eyes, have bad anatomy. Caliente is also still working on the body mod (as well as her other projects) and has always been open to suggestions and improvements. Saika, have you tried converting non-Slim outfits you like with Outfit Studio? Caliente will also be doing some conversions herself at one point (I already sent her a list of nice non-skimpy outfits), once her actual job lets her have some free time again to work on things. You can also use any mod listed in the CBBE mod list with CBBE, and there are a number of UNP/Vanilla ones there where the shape difference shouldn't be too obvious (other than the wider shoulders, and the bust shape/size of the UNP body, anyway). No never heard of it. Thanks for the info. :D I think I like UNP more for myself, but I had a bit of issues with it and a lot of outfits I like are CBBE only. thebunnyrules
Yeah, now the you mention it, the breast on CBBE do look more natural then the freaky perky UNP ones on my character. I had to use RaceMenu to reduce my PC's weight to 50% of maximum and reduced the breasts by 20% to get her to look more natural.
ElioraArin
In the endless multitude of posts like this I have seen Jeir seems to be the one with the most knowledge on the subject :D Personally I have tried several body types & the only reason I am responding to this post is because despite trying so many I have honestly only ever wanted to use "Alt Navetsea UNP Seamless" based on the "Dimonised UNP Female Body" - I suppose I find the Dimonised body to be the most like my own, & because Alt Navetsea includes both the body & head it eliminates ugly seam issues on the neck. Although I think many of the other bodies are extremely good I just find them to be too "soft" for a Dragonborn - who I feel should be somewhat lean & athletic. With Alt Navetsea you can choose how defined the muscles are as well as breast size - thankfully they do NOT have to be enormous. I have also found that most clothes & armors are compatible. I absolutely LOVE this body & can't endorse it enough - I'm not sure why it isn't more popular TBH. *Sigh* I just realised this is a resurrected post :D Edited July 2, 2016 by ElioraArin
speakofthedevil
personally I've seen a lot of good from UNP.. but I like running a thicker body type, which UNP hasn't really provided me.. at least on Skyrim SE. CBBE has better body shape option I think, and more realistic, but it's also very heavy on the skimpy armors. I'm sure there's plenty of more lore friendly or immersive mods though to avoid that in CBBE. Sevenbase is a bit ridiculous if you ask me when it comes to figures.. Im pretty sure you can still pair CBBE with some good skin mods like Sporty Sexy sweat or goosebumps to still get a more realistic look. But seems UNP has a lot less to sift through when it comes to finding more realistic armors. But I've run a lot of UNP and put CBBE on the backburner in its favor... so like I said before, there's probably plenty of options within CBBE by now for more immersion friendly armor. I personally think CBBE is a bit more versatile, seems there's more mods for it than UNP, but there are a lot of mods now too that give you the option for one or the other. Sevenbase is a lot harder to find mods, esp clothing wise that will work with it smoothly
NexusComa
"but not a lot of mods support the slim body" That's what the BodySlide is for. You do need the BodySlide files for the outfit however. Edited January 26, 2020 by NexusComa
