Don"t get involved atall I'm sorry ... I don't understand. Can maybe someone else try to explain what Falcont is trying to say? I think he's saying don't post anything unless you have something that will contribute to the topic. "Ask the developers" isn't really helpful but it seems that this topic has been completed anyway. "a bit smaller than Connecticut." That's what I thought!

"a bit smaller than Connecticut." That's what I thought! Well ... neither is complaining about other people's posts really helpful, so that comment was rather self-defeating. In addition, I was the one who posted the calculation on the size in the first place, so it was most likely ill-directed as well. :D Glad I could be of help though. HUNT3RxKILLERZ
Well it's said that the distance from red mountain to mournhold in morrowind is roughly 250km. My guess is that, lore-wise cyrodiil is the same size of province so i'd say it was around 250-300km. However, the size of the province was likely scaled down for gameplay. Skyjesterus
As mentioned earlier Cyrodiil is approximately 4 miles x 4 miles or 16 square miles.
subtled0ct0r
Not to complicate things, but I would take the timescale into account. 4 miles across, sure, from a physical standpoint; but since time runs faster in the game, it takes ~6 hours to cross that distance instead of ~1 hour. So the actual geography being *represented* is more like, very roughly, 24 miles by 24 miles. Or about 576 square miles.
Skyjesterus
True but I play finished savegames with timescale set to 1, since the quest bugs this setting causes are no longer an issue. Cyrodiil feels much more like a natural environment, day/night transitions, distances and travel times etc are what they'd be in the real world.
