Can't move Skyrim Cursor

I have recently re-installed Skyrim and I have discovered that I can't move my mouse at all in the main menu or in game. The skyrim cursor is stuck in the middle, however if I move my mouse to the edge of the screen, the windows cursor appears, but i can't click on anything. I can also drag the window despite it being in full screen and if i plug in my xbox controller I can use that. When I shift tab to the steam overlay I can still move the mouse around fine, so it's just in skyrim itself. I have tried unchecking controller support, don't have raptr or xfire installed and made sure it's not a mod conflict (vanilla skyrim), so I'm really stumped here.

may be a stupid question, but did you tried restarting your pc?
i just had this issue, that i started up skyrim and couldn't move my cursor in the main menu. i thought "let's keep it simple, maybe it works" and after rebooting, it worked for me ^^

I have a similar issue, only my damned curors stuck to the back of characters head, like almost a center of the screen thing=(   , she's a vanilla  dark elf with cbbe skin n couple tatts, the cursor works just fine in 1st person, its only 3rd person it happens, and right after character creation , I also use  realm of lorkhan alt start, which is good for testing mods out  ..

Re Edit -- L:awls it seems to have corrected itself , I used kill command that didn't work, don't know why I thought it would,  then whilst trying to think of something else, I attacked maiq the liar, still he dropped , n after he got up , n lowered my hands, its was ok again O.O !!

If the cursor still an issue for you ,  and you some how move around try attacking someone with ur  fists you know with high health , n wont hit back 😜
