Uninstalled 0.50.0, installed 0.50.1, all problems are fixed. "JIP Companions Command & Control" as well as "Unified HUD Project - uHUD" can be activated once again. zcul
Thank you to the team! The NMM v 50.1 is great improvement for users - imo. After I updated from v. 49.7 to 50.1 following your "instructions" (kept all my preferances and have not altered any directory paths) the mod has run smoothly - so far ;-). Farvahar
Uninstall 49.7 via control panel's application manager, through an uninstaller to be found in the 49.7 directory, manually, or via the installer of 50.1? Which is recommended?
MODinsane
So, basically the 50 version is for those with XP. I use Win 8 Pro and haven't had any issues with NMM 49, I should just keep using NMM 49. You people using Chrome is a problem anyway, I don't use it.
DuskDweller
In response to post #15347080. Nope, there's 2 separate NMM software now each one with his version (since they're both just released it's just a coincidence that they share the same major version number), the official is updated to the 0.50.1 and it's Vista,7,8 only (cause it requires the .Net Framework 4.5), and then there's the legacy that is for Windows XP users only (currently at version 0.50.0). DuskDweller
In response to post #15346680. You can safely uninstall through the 0.50.1 installer.
