Povuholo
There was no PS:T discussion thread before? Blasphemy! Attention all Planescape Torment fans! :D For those who haven't played the game in a while, several PS:T mods have had significant updates a couple of days ago and two more just a little earlier. Awry
Could it be that... there are no other PS:T fans here? Could such a thing be possible? I love PS:T. It is without a doubt the best CRPG I've played to date. Not to say that modern roleplaying games don't have their virtues; they're simply not very good virtues. MotB did come close, though. Now that you've reminded me of it, I feel like replaying it too. But... alas... no time!
Monolithic0117
Whoo! I haven't played Planescape in... what's it been? Almost a decade? My old copy is doubtlessly covered by dust, sitting untouched in the basement.
Shoren
This is truly great game even in this age as not many games now days come as deep plot as this game has nor virtues as great. Almost everything you spoke and acted affected your alignment which is good. Really good. Only headache to me gave playing as mage those level 9 and 8 forever taking spell animations *cough*Celestial Host*cough* but otherwise playing as mage was greatest (in my opinion) out of all other classes. Only thing I could have wished more would be larger world to play in.
Povuholo
So Annah pissed off some Harlot, which made the Harlot attack us, which in turn made all the harlots and many other characters in the area around the Smoldering Corpse bar hostile. Even if I kill them a new group forms every time I get back... And my neutral good aligment changed to chaotic good (probably evil if I kill more) so I reloaded. There doesn't seem to be a way to stop it. Looks like I'll have to run through that area quickly every time now. Damn you Annah!

Povuholo
Yeah it's awesome! :D Some of the packs had another update last week I think. Also if you're really bored you can read the over 3 years in progress Let's Play: Planescape Torment How people find the time for this I don't know.
tassadarfanboy
Ah, Torment. One of the most sophisticated CRPGs ever designed. The plot is a wonderful change from the usual 'save the world from the big bad', the paradox-riddled setting and the companions are as anti-cliche as it gets. Great stuff. I wish there were more party banters, though. So much material for conversation between all those oddballs yet unused... Sadly, my memories of my recent playthrough are still fresh enough to remember most of the game's contents, so the superb plot is not an incentive for a replay to me. And yes, watching all two minutes of Celestial Host is nice at first, but gets annoying quickly.
GWChapman
Planescape Torment, wow that brings back memories. I guess now I have to organize an archaeological dig to locate my discs from storage. In addition, now I want to play Baldur's Gate I and II, and Icewind Dale I and II, and go back through my Might and Magic games.
