ducttapetoiletpaper
A problem I keep running into while trying to find and install ENBs is they require a specific version d3d9.dll file downloaded from enbdev, and the version number isn't there [ex. I'm looking for v .161 but it is not listed]. Is the mod useless or can I use another file? The mods in question arehttp://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18881/andhttp://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18753/
BlackRampage
they require a specific version d3d9.dll file They don't. They just require a certain version or any newer ones. Just get the newest version and you'll be fine.
ducttapetoiletpaper
Alright, I wasn't sure. But now I am having another problem where if I put in the .dll file, FO3 detects the wrong graphics adapter [instead of NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660M it detects Intel HD Graphics 4000 and will only show that], and the ENB will not work. [i went with the Realism ENB]. Edit: I was browsing around the forums and I read somewhere that you have to use the Injector Version for Laptops or it will always switch to Intel. I tried this and it still switched. [Also one of the files in the actual mod says to use Wrapper Version.] I just included this in case someone suggests it. Disable your Intel graphics adapter in your bios, try again, normally now the ENB should detect your Geforce card, if it doesn't then something weird is happening and we'll look further <--- this only applies if you effectively have an intel HD adapter integrated in your Motherboard, if not then the weirdness already has happened Edited June 10, 2014 by Billy1969
ducttapetoiletpaper
I'm not sure how to disable the adapter, and I don't know if it's integrated into my motherboard. If it helps this has happened before when I tried using an ENB on skyrim, but it went away after a while? EDIT: If I change the RendererInfo.ini and put in my NVIDIA card name instead of the Intel one, will that do anything?
