[REQ] Modeller familiar with porting models.

I can not get much into detail in this post, there's things I won't revail unless it's by pm.

I have dark messiah, and I would like to port a few things to oblivion, modellers choice ofcourse.

 

there's plenty of things that are worthy of porting.

pieces of fine furniture in it's very own special style, clothing wich is also quite beautiful, and creatures that are just horrid looking, the zombies in particular are very very gruesome and they actually scare the living poo out of you.

I have made a mini mod that I will share once I put more things in it, giving the correct credit ofcourse, I ripped sounds, and textures, so far I adapted the textures to existing models in oblivion, creating that way combinations between both of the games, these combinations are quite plausible though I am not fully satisfised.

Porting is both illegal and against Nexus rules. No one will do it.

I didn't know it's against the Nexus rules, and to your information Kier, porting is not illegal and sine when do people abbide the laws anyway ? I certainly don't.

Concerning this thread i'd prefer it removed and forgotten.

Porting content from other games most certainly IS illegal, at least in most cases. Although we will not actively stop you doing so for your own game, Nexus cannot allow you to host the ported models here. It is a law thing and we have to abide by it, being a public site. What you make for your own game, or for friends, is entirely up to you. Just please don't post them here.

EDIT by LHammonds: Porting is usually not illegal but DISTRIBUTING / SHARING them is illegal which is why we do not host them here. These types of activities are usually done by modders who can do it for themselves...you would be hard-pressed to find a modder that would do this for you and "share" the files with you since it would constitute illegal activity.
