TheMissile1
Hi guys, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section. I just recently joined and started downloading some mods via the nexus mod manager. I have New Vegas installed on steam and was excited to try out my mods i downloaded. I started up F:NV through steam and realized that none of the mods are showing up, so i went into the nexus mod manager and clicked on the "launch Fallout: New Vegas at the top left corner but I received "application load error 5:0000065434". If anyone has a solution or needs more info on my problem I would be glad to hear a response/ help you understand my problem better. Thank you for your time.
blaze1514
I have never seen this before. You should troubleshoot your mods. Here is how I do it........ I make a backup of my data folder with no mods, then I install each mod I am testing directly into the data folder. Then I use the Game's Launcher to activate the ESP/ESM

It is a master file and is necessary for the game or mod to work. ESP = Elder Scrolls Plugin. Modifies ESM.
blaze1514
If you have a mod manager, go to the plugin section and you will see them. If you are using the games default launcher, then go to the Data Files tab. Make sure you have "load loose files" enabled, then enable the mod's checkbox. Thoran1
Ok this might sound stupid but check if your Steam is running. If you are using any custom starter like the 4GB you need to have Steam running before it can start F:NV. Otherwise I'd recommend making a copy of your Fallout NV folder, uninstall NV via steam remove all files left in the NV Steam folder and reinstall it. Then copy the old folder back so Steam knows the location and you still have your mods.
