mileafly
Is it normal to get texture problems when the memory use of Skyrim is up to about 2,7gb? I seem to start getting the light purple missing textures at this point and at about 2,9 CTD. Should it CTD at 2,9? I have heard the normal limit is 3,1? Novem99
Do you have ENBoost or an ENB preset? Edited June 12, 2014 by Novem99
mileafly
I am not using ENBoost, but I actually removed the d3d9.dll from my Skyrim folder when I did these memory checks with the Skyrim Performance Monitor since it does not work if you are running an ENB at the same time. Novem99
If you're not using ENBoost or an ENB preset I heavily recommend to install ENBoost. I had every now and then texture problems like you (and of course regular CTDs). After installing ENBoost I never had any again. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649/? And watch this guide for proper installation:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9WLTY9R_5Y

I use Phinix Natural ENB and am able to run the Skyrim Performance Monitor. Under the SPM Setup Options>Miscellaneous Settings, check the box for 'Attempt Support for Custom D3D9.dll' After doing that, I was able to run SPM with an ENB graphic mod. I also recommend ENBoost, it allowed me to keep all my eye-candy. Dropped my 2.8-2.9gb use down to 800-1100mb. If not already using, I also recommend SSME. Gopher's Vid on how to install.
