Google+ redesign

Excuse the rant but it gets my vote as the single worst web redesign in internet history. I freaking hate it. It's dysfunctional (even trying to create a new Google+ profile didn't work), I have trouble finding anything, because options to do simple things (like deleting avatar photos) either don't exist at all, or are buried on seemingly unrelated pages. And every page looks similar.

IME this is what happens when *nix programmers design websites.

Google+ is as good as dead anyway, the head of the division left and most of the staff have been moved over to Android, they killed it when they tried to force everyone to use it.

Originally it was quite good, I liked it up to the point where it added my real name to my profile without asking, less than a minute after finding that I shut it down and edited my name on my Google account into my nickname, annoying when credit card transactions on Google Play need your actual name. It's a shame really, the basic premise was good but Google being Google they screwed it up. I'll stick with Twitter.

Facebook and twitter is poison to society, its just as bad as google+. I will never touch either services, except gmail or hotmail. Because of online shopping requires it.

Twitter is what you make it, follow people with interests similar to yours and it works as a great news feed or place to discuss whatever interests you, follow morons and it becomes moronic. I have an interest in politics and current affairs, I find out things on Twitter long before the dinosaurs in the press get around to telling people. It's good for solving problems you may have with products and services too, you get things fixed faster by tweeting at a company Twitter account than you do with their customer services because you're making a noise in public.
