Crazy Graphics

Recently Ive been having these random graphic issues (See description), and I wanted to know if it was due to mods or issues with my video card. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Really sounds like your graphics card is overheating or on it's last limbs...your symptoms sound more like that than mods messing with the game. What kind of card do you have? Overclocked? Sufficient cooling?

Thats strange, I just got this Graphics card like 2 weeks ago, along with the rest of the computer parts. theyre all brand new. BUT, I have been playing oblivion on highest quality with QTP3 for long lasting periods of time, so thats probably it. and how would I check to answer your graphic card question? Sorry, Im a total newbie when it comes to computer parts. My dad who used to build computers a lot does it for me even now.

Brand new doesn't mean anything lol, I've bought two brand new graphics cards and had the fans die on them within weeks...:( A few crappy ones always get through the line.

get the free trial of the ultimate edition, install, and it can tell you lots of cool stuff about your computer...temperatures, voltage, what kind of card you have, etc. :)

if he's running QTP3 at all then its a high end graphics card.

 

however the mod possibility should be examined more closely

and that mod list looks rather . . . unusual

 

Considering how the OP professes to being a computer novice Its not likely that he knows about some of our more interesting service mods.

Alright, long story, believe I fixed the graphic problems.,. As for BOSS, DLed it and amazing. I just have to reorder some "unknown mods" and it does most of the work for me! Thank you.

Hehe...I ran QTP3 on a 7950GT...35-40FPS outdoors @ 1280x1024 4xAA ;) :biggrin:

 

Don't use it now, I'm liking ATP :) But I could run it on here now with no impact, got a 5770 :)

 

lol weird...nice though, better than dying graphics card :P Never had a mod do that to my graphics before haha.
