Spiralunix
:wallbash: It seems to work differently over at the site than the forums. I want an answer from someone who has successfully submitted a working link before with one of their files in the description. These are the formats I have tried: "[furl=http://url%20of%20website]url of website [/furl]" f put in front of url to prevent it from actually becoming a link and show original format This is a format that works properly when used here in the forums, but used over there it creates a link, but a dead link that leads nowhere. <a href="url of website" target="_blank">url of website</a> This does not turn into a link. It remains as is, html format and all. I am at my wit's end here. How do people make working links over there? If you do it by using either of the methods above and it has been successful, why would it not be working for me??!!!! :verymad:
Alastair91
Try this: [furl=(http://www.blahblahblahyour%20website)](description)[/furl] Remove the "f" and brackets for it to work. Test
xxXEvandarXxx
You need to use bb code, just like in the forums. I think the problem is the " marks (I can't remember their damn name) before and after the url. I remember it didn't work for me when I used the "" thing.Try it like this: [url=http://website.com]blah blah[/url]Instead of this: [url="http://website.com"]blah blah[/url]

Spiralunix
Try this: [furl=(http://www.blahblahblahyour%20website)](description)[/furl] Remove the "f" and brackets for it to work. Test Thanks for trying to help but I have used this format (just tried it again) and it leads to a dead link. It works here in the forums but in an actual file description at the main website for uploading, it won't go anywhere. WHY! EDIT: lol k I will try it w/o the quotes. Thank you

For example, if I put a link to this mod, using the "" marks, the link will not go the the mod, but to http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/"ht...?id=26221"Maybe it depends on which browser you use, I dunno. Dark0ne
Don't use the quotes. It will then work.
