Lolasho
I was searching some files when I saw an user uploaded image in a mod's images that had a black thumbnail. I saw them some time ago, but I thought it was normal. When I opened that image, I saw a low resolution picture. Everything normal, but... wait, what? 1,4 MB? I saw some high resolution pictures that were only 640 KB! It had a lot of colours, but I think that for a little and low resolution picture it's excessive. Is there any possibility that it was an exploit image? I know it's hard, because it's an uploaded image, but I've read about infected image files. Can that image be that? Thanks. buddah
Give me a link to the image. The black thumbnail is usually caused by an invalid file type or a corrupted image. Dragon age for instance does not save as a true jpg/jpeg file type. To fix that you open it in mspaint or another image editor and just save as and save again as a jpeg. Dark0ne
Some people will take screenshots as bitmaps (BMP) and then simply rename their file to .jpg to circumvent the extension check. A thumbnail can't be generated off BMP's but the file still gets uploaded, hence why it's ridiculously big.
