krissychan
MotoX kicked me twice, and banned me from the chat.I joined the room and initially cursed - he asked me not to from that point forward, so I didn't.I did, however, ask why there was a filter if cussing still wasn't allowed (pretty silly rule IMHO, but w/e). He told me why, I didn't argue it, I didn't even respond to it. I got accused of bypassing the filter by another player, and I corrected him, and for that I was kicked the first time. Prior to my kick, MotoX kicked another person for saying "Flying Fish". I joined the room, stated the kick was unfair, then went about my own business. Another player decided to say "When will peopel grow up??" so I asked what his definition of growing up was, and for that I was banned. [sarcasm] Real nice mod system you have going on here. Almost as good as the Nexus Mod Manager itself! [/sarcasm]
krissychan
tl;dr MotoX is allowed to ban people for no reason apparently, and plays favorites with who to and who not to punish.
JimboUK
You'd do well to contact the mod in question and ask politely to be unbanned, posting here isn't going to help.

[/sarcasm]If you read the Terms of Service of the site you would likely know why what you did was wrong...and that this is also the incorrect way to handle any issues you have with the staff here. Here is the Terms of Service of which the rules of chat (which you click the "I agree" button each time you enter chat) are in addition.http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules Any issues youhave with staff should be taken up with the site owner, Dark0ne (Robin Scott) by using the Contact Us button at the bottom of the forums. ~Lisnpuppy As for your sarcasm....well that probably won't get you the result that you wish. Thandal
Since the ToS seem to be a mystery to some, here's the section relevant to the specific complaint being made: Our staff and our disciplinary systemNexus site staffNexus Mods is owned and maintained by Robin Scott (member name "Dark0ne"). Robin is regarded as the law on Nexus sites and he has the final say on any action that might need to be taken regarding a breach of the terms of service for any Nexus site. What Robin says goes irrespective of whether there has been a breach of the terms of service or not.Nexus sites and the forums are staffed by unpaid volunteers (known as moderators and "staff") who work hard to ensure the smooth operation of Nexus sites and encourage a healthy community. The moderators and other admin on the site have been given specific privileges by Robin to keep the site clean of the bad articles listed in these terms and use their own personal judgement, that Robin trusts, to come to decisions.
