VaanicOne
Well, you activate the spell first (stands to reason). Then you pick up the item using the Z key normally. The "magnitude" of your particular spell relates to how far away you can pick up objects, for example: "Telekinesis 10 feet for 10 seconds" means that you can pick up any object 10 or less feet away - for 10 seconds. From here on - clicking and holding the left and right mouse buttons will make the item float further from and closer towards you. To throw the item, click both mouse buttons at the same time. King Of Squirrels
No not at all, its pretty good if you're playing a thief sort of type? Being able to open chests and pick up items from a distance can be pretty usefull sometimes

One definite difference from Morrowing is that Telekinesis is now a targeted spell rather than one on your self. I had figured out how to use the grab key and then been able to move the item around like something you drag out of your inventory but didn't relaize the mouse button effects which are much more useful. What I don't see is how to use the spell to pick a distant lock or to open a distant chest or other item that shows the container icon. I see the container icon on distant objects when I have the spell ready but the activate (space) key doesn't open the chest, etc, unlike in Morrowind. Has anyone else figured out how to use Telekinesis to be able to access distant containers?
Erlkoenig
Will it hurt someone if you throw a weapon at them.
SoulBlazer_87
One correction: Telekinesis being targeted is used like that: You target an object cast and now you can move it! The mouse buttons move it forward and back ward. And it won't hurt. I know its weird when you throw a shield on someones head but... The only real us efor this spell is in order to get hard-to-reach items when low on skills varla stones anyone? However since you can get pretty much the same effects by a lightning bolt or an arrow, its pretty useless yes.
Erlkoenig
Not really, there is one place in a room full of welkynd stones that it would be really useful.

Gandaug
The spell does have its uses. Some pretty good ones if you use your brain and don't expect it to be the uber thief spell it was in Morrowind.
