D/l's Fail

No accelerators, just firefox 1.5.0.2 with a bunch of extensions (and again, none of them are DL accelerating)

Hmm, I'm running the same version of FF without problem. Can download from the link you provided no problemo.

Can I ask if you're using any firewall or anything like that? I want to see if it's an ISP issue or a firewall/anti-virus issue that's screwing with the anti-leech protection. If you could turn them off just while you try to download again I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

When downloading anything over a meg, the download says it is complete, when it is not.

If I try to re-start it, it will continue from where it left off, pick up a few Kilobytes or so, and then say it is complete again. No firewall/AV present.

I'm using Firefox 1.5, and also tried this in IE6.

I'm thinking this is my ISP's issue. I had this problem with a download at a different site that seemed to use a similar php download thingamajig.

any suggestions?

This is not an ISP issue. This happens to me on two different ISPs and computers. Large downloads will randomly "time out" and stop before they are complete. This has been happening for over a week now.

I cannot download any files at all. I get a page complete, but no download. I have previously been downloading once a night after work, but yesterday and today marked the first time I was unable to successfully navigate through a download link.

Time to give you a little update!

Last night I tried DL'ing files that are hosted on big server on IE and the downloads worked fine (except for occational cancellation from the server.) Today, I turned off the firewall and tried to dl another file from big server with FF, worked fine also. and it worked just as fine when i turned the firewall back on

Did you make any changes to the leechprotection? Anyhow, I'll let you know if the issue arise again, and I'll try with the firewall then too.

cheers
