Moboroshi Posted February 22, 2010 Share Posted February 22, 2010 okay well the thing is i like kinda a "real-time" gameplay so the whole pausing of the game throws me off sometimes, but can be quite helpful, my problem is, i want all the NPC that are in my party to just follow my character around when i use the WSAD keys, meaning i run around, they follow, simple right? well if it is in the gameplay already, i cant figure it out, and if not, does there happen to be a mod for this, i just hate the whole right click to move the whole party thing, i like to be able to move me character with the keyboard and not the mouse? thanks and sorry for the deficit in intelligence. meyer189 Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Hello! just to say, NO question is a stupid question as long as it relates to the right forum! ;) By the way WELCOME to the forums!!! :D i`m not sure whats your problem, wont the party follow you normally? then (if you don't know) there is a button under the last party member picture on the left side of the screen where you can "holt" your party so they wait for you or "follow" so they follow you, if you ment something else let me now! :D Hope this helps. nosisab Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 just complementing the Meyer's information, the "H" key does the same, so if you inadvertently pressed it... :) it's a toggle key, pressing it will make them behave as expected again. DarkeWolf Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 I think, what Moboroshi is actually asking, is if there is a way to make the characters move via the keyboard controls rather than having to use a mouse to guide where the characters go. I know that there are keyboard shortcuts for targeting, but the movement I don't know about right off the top of my head. I'll have to look into that when I get home from class. As far as realtime gaming goes in this particular game... unless you are a complete master at setting up their AI tactics, or are using some pretty hefty god items, there's probably gonna be a few situations and enemies where you'll need to go in and control them manually. Especially if you start getting mauled by several werewolves or spiders all at once. To move in your StabNslab warriors or mages to cast particular spells in order to break the multiple Overwhelms.
