JehutyX
I was wondering if it was possible to create a Anime styled head on Fallout 3, but because it is almost impossible to create it as the actual face, that it could be created as a helmet? Could some-one please look into creating one, or informing me how I could possibly do one myself. (I have no experience with creating mods but I'm willing to give it a shot  .) Something similar to these: http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb260/Gh3yz0r/SchoolMate2009-03-3120-31-01-57.jpg http://images.wikia.com/egamia/images//9/95/School_Mate_demo_3.jpg
Tekmon
It's possible :), all that would need to be done would to create custom textures, eyes, and stuff like that for a custom race. I've seen some pretty cool stuff done like anime.
BarryTGash
An issue with overly "anime'd" features is that they really need a cel shading effect to really work otherwise characters just look fecking weird, like. However, try this though as a compromise of sorts - looks pretty good to me, although I've not installed it: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11215
ZulinX
Yeah, I can vouch for the shojo race. Just make sure you get the custom race fix for broken steel.

I may just have to give Blaze a new face...
BarryTGash
You'll have to bear with me - not 100% sure when I am having the piss taken out of me ;) Possibly cos it's still so radioactive.
ZulinX
I think that the Shojo race makes your character shorter. As much as I liked the character style, in the end I went back to my full grown character. Plus, at the end of the main story, there is no way to hit the '2' button without using the console. JehutyX
Yeah, I'm not big on Shojo due to the Lolicon style :yucky: EDIT: I was thinking into more of the lines of taking the head model from the game 'Schoolmate' (Screenshots above) and some-how importing them into Fallout 3? evilneko
Wat? Shojo's pretty tame, and the best effort I've seen so far toward manga-style faces. and @ ZulinX: you can jump. Or even temporarily set scale. Of course, as you can tell by my sig, I might be a little biased. :D
Tony the Wookie
The problem with shorter characters is that they are slower, so you have to go in and change their speed as well. But I have played with a character of a different height each time I have played through the game as well as switching out a large majority of the NPCs. But anyways, you can't just take a head from a cell shaded game and put it into another game (even another non realistic game) and have it look right. The effect is created by shaders which are part of the game engine, and as far as I know the Fallout 3 engine has no form of cell shading shaders at all. You can't get good results from standard textures, the shadow on the nose for example wouldn't work. And even if you could it would look just plane scary inside of a realistic looking environment...
