bben46
If you remapped the ~ key, that one is actually disabled by Microsoft when a Infrared port is active. Just moving the scan code to another key will not help as the scan code is what was disabled. (Ask Billy Gates cause I don't know.) Disable IR to allow Consolehttp://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=

Fonger
did you use the Oblivion control option to remap these keys (Game manual page 47) or did you use some operating system function?

LFact
If you can use OBSE, try 'Change Console key'.

Jenrai
Se7en... get a new keyboard bud... or loose that third party (3p) program and use your OS' keyboard mapping / registry functions (not easy, but it will work) Problem with a lot of 3rd party stuff is (to put it into context of the Oblivion loading order as its knowledge is something we all share) it won't workas desired if anything loaded after it changes the same things. And Oblivion, being a videogame, is a priority program - most simply will not work if they aren't, as they need more resources than regular software, say a web browser or, in this case, a 3p keymapper. Silly example load order: Windows ###NotepadMS OfficeWindows Live MessengerFirefox/IE3p Keymapper ---------------> anything loaded after this won't be affected by it.Imagenius video editor suite plus... (OK, I made that up. I don't use VE stuffs. )Oblivion. Particularly common amongst 3p software that you actually have to install, as opposed to stuff that you just run from the icon, it basically indicates that whilst not neccesarily 'badly' written, your 3p stuff wasn't made with gaming, video or sound editing, or anything else similarly high demand in mind. aagar
I seem to have a problem with mapping to my mouse or something. For example, when I hold the left click button to shoot an arrow I either end up with a sudden OTS switch or my field of view snaps about 30 degrees to the left. My character is getting whiplash with all this crazy activity. The worst part is that the left mouse button doesn't have to be mapped to some other function. I tried to narrow this down by dumping some of my suspect mods, trying 2 different mice with the same results. I am currently using a logitech G500 gaming mouse that can be remapped to essentially anything you want. (a side note here, the mouse has a "tail" of braided threads instead of a conventional plastic coated wire.) My other mouse is a 848nm wireless logitech mouse that can also have the mouse keys remapped to another function. The G500 is about 3 weeks old while the 848nm is about 1 year old. Jenrai
Aagar- firstly, I'm not a mod so this isn't a warning or anything... buuuuttt; You might want to start a new topic to post your problem matey, rather than jumping into someone else's thread, especially as your issue is unrelated. I have a G500 too (though I normally use a joypad for Oblivion) but I don't remember any issues with it, so my guess would be this ain't a problem with the mouse, so posting your load order may be a good place to start.
