Need someone who have and use 3D Max Studio or Blender

Hello, i have a mod "Gondorian Ranger Armor and Ithilien Ranger Cloak Standalone",

i tryed to delete the Side Bag with it's belt and the pouches with their belt, but it cannot be removed with NifSkope.

The reason i want the Side Bag with it's belt to be removed, is because i want to make the white tree bigger like the shirt is,

but the tree does not look cool with that belt on chest, its like the tree has been cut in two pieces.

As for the other parts i want to be removed, the reason is since the bag will be removed, why not those too, the armor will look better without those things.

I do not have 3D Max Studio and Blender, also i have no idea about those programs how to use them.

Anyone that can remove those parts for me?

The one who can do that for me, i promise after the armor is done, i will write in description the name who made that for me and that the credits of this version of armor will go to him/her!

Have you tried erasing that part of the texture (and saving it as DXT5) that has the belt and just applying a nialphaproperty (under the appropriate NiTriShape) to the mesh? But if that doesn't work (if there's just a gap where the belt was) then yes it will need some editing.

Well i thought about to erase the bag texture with it's belt, but it will cause invisibility issue that we can see the everything around the player through the bag part of the armor.

That's why i want the bag mesh part of the armor to be removed.

By the way, what is the "9 [NiAlphaProperty] in the BS Properties section?

I thought again what you told me, i tried and the result is with few issues:

So i recovered the middle belt, but there are still two problems..

1) The golden buckle of the side bag's belt are still visible and in the textures does not exist such thing so i can delete it! oO

2) The side bag with its belt and pouches may be invisible, but when you turn the camera, the under side of the belt is visible while see it from a side view! :/

Thats why i want someone who knows about 3D Max Studio or Blender, so those parts can be removed once and for all. :wink:

My guess is those buckles have their own texture. But yes it does look like it might need some model editing to be on the safe side (especially with the case of the belt). I suppose I could try it, but before I do does it have any weight slider support currently? Because after I get done with it, it probably won't and the only way for me to get around that is by having both weight meshes be the same mesh.

I found the buckle texture part, i could not see it because it looks like a piece of leather, now i deleted it too from alpha channel, the buckles on the armor are invisible, but still there is that problem with those belts which are visible on side views.

I am sure the armor have weight slider, in game the armor matches with every body size.

I will upload the new texture as optional, when its up, you can download the main file which have the meshes and make your magic.

The optional GRA - Bigger Tree is up, also i made a tweak on the neck side of the shirt, ready for download.

 

@Faerlin

The issue with the belt of the side bag which can be visible in side views, as we know without a cape it can be seen, but when wearing a cape the belt is covered.

If people will play the armor mod also without the cape then they will not like it when see the belt appearing in side view.

Can you try to remove those parts from the armor meshes?

Also, in case of holes, can you patch up those holes?

The holes (well on the belt in the one image) mainly seem to be from removing that part of the texture, as that part of the mesh should still be there. But I can give a try at removing the rest of the belts on the mesh (as in the ones that show up from the side).

that hole was when i deleted the belt from belly, but i restored it and there is no hole anymore, the belly belt will stay, it looks nice.

I mean the holes which maybe will there be after those parts removed: Side Bag from the left with it's shoulder belt, the pouches from the right and the buckles.
