negative134
Hi, Kriiks! I just installed SSME as well as ENB-boost, how do I configure ENBseries to use my NVIDIA card instead of the integrated one? Thanks! Edit: Nevermind, I got it. Still getting CTDs... So at this point I think the CTDs/Apphangs are the result of a conflict? Edited July 3, 2014 by negative134
Kriiks
Never run Skyrim on laptop myself, but you might get some info from this thread: http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2773
camaro_69_327
Hi, Looking at your SPM Graph, your System RAM is off the chart BUT your GPU is flatlined.....does not look like Skyrim is using the Discrete card and is using your Intregrated video?? Have never used a laptop to play, but have read ..you need to force skyrim to use the Discrete card... EDIT:...in the settings for SPM, you should have the choice to switch monitoring to the Integrated card. Run it, and see if the Integrated card is getting the workout... Thanks! Edit: I've installed SSME, ENBseries with ENBoost, ran BOSS + LOOT + Tes5Edit, disabled any possible CTD-causing mods and started a new game, saved, and Skyrim is still CTDing upon loading :/ Edited July 3, 2014 by negative134
negative134
Hi guys, thanks for all the suggestions and help thus far. Update: I've started a new game after uninstalling some mods that I thought might have been causing the CTDs during loading (following un-installation directions per each mod). I've also installed SSME, ENBseries + ENBoost, ran BOSS + LOOT + Tes5EDIT. I've discovered that I can start new games without any issues, play for quite a while without any issues. The problem lies in trying to load the save file after I exit. Sometimes I successfully load in, and others I don't... it's hard to isolate the issue. Kriiks
Just in case you can try Memory Blocks Log http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50471/? and make sure thats SSME actually works properly for you. Freezes while loading save can often hint to "running out memory" problems.
