rhartell2000
I am compiling all plugins I can get my hands on, online. I Have about 1600 so far, a few are updates to the other plugins, but I have visited over 80 webpages, downloaded everything possible and am going through the process of checking names and version, while staying updated on all the major sites daily, downloading new plugins available. I am doing this mainly for myself, and will burn these to cd for me, actually several cd's. I just got tired of searching through mods on all the sites, running into different versions, same cell spaces, and trying to sort them out etc... I will post the mods list I have accumulated for review, hopefully you can help me keep it up to date? Has anyone else tried this? Does anyone have a list available for me to check against? After getting the older files and dups out, I am going to run each one and update them to run with tribunal and bloodmoon, noting any duplicated spaces in the file somehow, or conflicts with other mods via spaces used in the game. Is this something that anyone is interested in at this time? Also would it be possible for me to take all the best mods, compile them into one massive .esp file and run it easier? Any responses are appreciated. Thanks, Romorro

Maybe the best idea would be to contact the site with the largest and most up-to-date list and assist them in keeping it up to date. With all due respect, it sounds like you are reinventing the wheel, but probably a necessity.
DragoonFurey
I imagine over half of those mods are uc (utter crap) what we could really use is a full time review staff I see alot of mods out there that sound cool and then you load it up and its just buggy or unbalanced to the extreme, or just plain bad models/textures and then you feel youve just wasted your time looking for something cool and usefull to add to morrowind. Ive probably downloaded and played over 300 mods since i got morrowind, only about 6 of them are still on my harddrive and thats not because my harddrive is small or i reformated. Dont get me wrong theres some great mods out there but weeding through all the half-decent and utter crap is something of a pain.
Switch
yep, some can be labeled as good and have good presentation but when u actually get in game theyre complete cr@p. for instance sword of perithia, looks good, has some interesting screenies, get in game and find out that the NPC dialogue is pathetic, theres dunmer buildings theyre passing off as 1000 year old dwemer ruins and cliff racers that spit fire spells at u, which are meant 2 be a type of dragon.

j0ckser
... what we could really use is a full time review staff ...Are you familiar with Tamriel Rebuilt? It is a collection of modders creating plugins, first filling in the rest of the province of Morrowind, then surrounding provinces to fill in Tamriel, and eventually the world. They don't have a fulltime staff as such (all volunteers), but you 'stake out' a chunk of land and go to it, building your mod. They will vet it to make sure it isn't buggy, then include it. They will not allow any mods that deal with MW, T, BM, which is where your idea comes in. What about floating the idea at Morrowind Summit? rhartell
It sounds like a great idea, Im basically up to over 2500 downloads now, and still going, visiting individuals sites one at a time. I have more than listed on any server Ive checked out so far. Im going to sort them by area and then check for compatibility with MW,T,BM. At that time when I have a group that doesnt mbalance the game, interfere with each other, or overlap I will compile a master .esp or .esm file (if possible, not sure how this works, but willing to find out quickly) and create a cd with an extractor and installer to autorun andmake it as easy as possible. I understand that this is an ongoing project and will likely update by month for a while, then quarterly. Not sure how I could recruit help for this or keep it straight and organized. I work at an accelerated rate once I start a project and could not demand that of anyone else. I will finish this project hopefully within this month. Any ideas on how to recruit assistance please let me know, great idea again and thanks. Thanks, Romorro
Marxist ßastard
"Master ESM?" I surely hope that this is a bad joke, because otherwise I'd have to female dog-slap you. Nobody wants their plugins CHOSEN for them, nor do they want every single plugin that doesn't cause a conflict to be installed. And as we've learned with Giants, ESMs just add insult to injury.
