File archives instead of folders

Hello everybody. I've been posting and downloading in DAONexus for some time.

I have fallout 3 on the console, so I figured I would try it on the PC, because you can't mod a console game. After torrenting it and the DLC (yes, I know, piracy and all that), I look in the data folder and find that I have File Archives instead of Folders. I then notice that mods that add weapons or reskin models can just overwrite or be added to the folders that are supposed to be there. I did try extracting the files in the archives and leave them in the Data folder, but when I try to run FO3, it just crashes back to the desktop.

So, is there any way I can put the various files that mod the game into the respective archives, or is there a way to make FO3 run without the files in the Bethesda File Archives?

tl;dr How do I mod Bethesda File Archives?

Yes, I also have FOMM, and my PC says it is opened by FOMM.

Hi and welcome, I wouldn't trust pirated copy's of Fallout 3 or touch them with a ten foot pole , also you'll find that the fallout 3 community don't take too kindly to talking about pirated games, software etc and you risk the ban hammer if you continue to ask about pirated or torrent related thing's here, good luck getting help with your Problem!..

Fallout 3 game of the year is only $45 at amazon.com right now, don't be so cheap and go out and purchase a legit copy of it, M'Kay!..

Well, can I make an appeal?

Appeal what exactly? You admit to it, and acknowledge that you knew it was wrong in the first post. You can try, and I'm vaguely interested as to what sort of excuse you can come up with, but I really wouldn't hold my breath.

That said, as briefly mentioned, pirated games are not a good idea since they tend to come from people who are already breaking the law, and have no problem slipping in viruses and malware if not just uploading broken releases. They are not doing it to help you or to ruin a game company, they do it for personal fame and the ability to sneak things into thousands of systems before anyone even takes notice. Piracy is always a bad idea.

Enjoy your ban. Maybe some of those criminals can help you with your problem or atleast direct you to a site that gives you a "fix" that contains even more problems.

No. Pirates aren't welcome to this family of sites. Even though you would beg not to be banned, that would not make a difference, still you would be a pirate. You should have bought the game instead of downloading it ILLEGAL. You can try to get help at the sites where you downloaded your pirated version but here no one is willing to help you.

Greetings, MHM
