So I am not a noob or anything when it comes to dealing with mods but for some reason I cannot figure out, I install my mods using a mod manager go to the game and the mod doesn't show up...for instance i installed The warden ruinic armor and it isn't in my inventory...i went to the game menu to look at installed add ons and it says its enabled but it still doesn't show up. Any ideas? Also the mods i put in the override folder work if that is needed to be known at all.

Before going ahead... Have you installed the 1.03 patch? there is many mod breaking issues related to it, including with DLCs second some reports. I can't help you in this case, else:

How are you controlling the event that triggers the script that add the items to the inventory?

The common way, that is checking for the mod first usage (plot flag), normally fails if the player do not have yet an inventory (like a new game) and the mod yet being flagged as "already ran once". In this case, saving the game with the mod activated and quit, disable the mod and reload, save again and quit. Enable the mod again and reload, that should 'workaround' the problem, if not there is something else we can't know from the given informations.

PS: I noticed too late you refers to a mod you installed, not one you are creating yourself, so the question about the script is off, yet the described procedure should work for you, if not patched to 1.03. Again I can't help if it's the case.
